Dear Santa,

December 20, 2010 by jessperriam

I’ve been a good girl this year, I think you’ll agree.

In light of the aforementioned good behaviour, might I be so lucky to receive the following this Christmas:

  • A 2011 Mad Men Calendar
  • A Moleskine book journal (Mama Claus has already got me this, don’t worry your little bearded self about it)

That is all.

No really, that is all.

Love (and respect that you can still pull off those red pants with such aplomb after all these years),

Jess

PS: for everyone else, enjoy this selection of my favourite Christmas songs:

Because John Lennon’s dreary Happy Xmas (War Is Over) is well… dreary. I sit firmly in the McCartney camp in the post-Beatles Christmas song smackdown.

Because I want to say hello and hugs to all my friends who won’t be having a sunny Antipodean Christmas this year (although I’m not sure you’d really want a 38 degrees Celsius Perth Christmas Day lunch.). I miss you!

Because sometimes there needs to be a Christmas song that makes you smile and want to dance (and also get stuck in your head).

Because… it’s Eartha Kitt. Meow!

Because Rolf Harris in front of a blue screen with Status Quo is wrong on so, so many levels, yet so, so brilliantly right!

After that amazing selection you will have to wait and see and hear what you will wake up to on Christmas morning.
