Answers part one: London

June 19, 2010 by jessperriam

Natalia asked me why I haven’t talked that much about London.

Simply: I haven’t done that much in London.

Here’s what I haven’t done:

*Visited Buckingham Palace
*Been on the London Eye
*Sat in Hyde Park
*Gone to any pretty churches.

And here’s what I have done:

*Giggled while on the Tube (“This is the Piccadilly Line service to Cockfosters”)
*Visited the National Archives far too many times for book research.
*Visited a few museums (Churchill War Rooms, Victoria and Albert Museum, Imperial War Museum)
*Went to a crazy house party in Swiss Cottage.
*Went to the movies – I saw Greenberg (in short: Hurt people hurt people. And Ben Stiller looks old.)

Oh, and it’s never too late to send questions.

Good answer, your version of London sounds like fun!

  2. Michael J Faithfull says:

So how has the experience of actually travelling compared with the experience of planning your travels?

Have their been any pleasant surprises?
